Sam is accountable for the overall strategic direction of ICS Diagnostics, including the
operational and financial performance. He specialises in healthcare diagnostics and until
2017 worked for ICS Group within its Maxxima brand. Sam specialises in the use of
technology to support diagnostics and the wider healthcare industry across the UK. This
focus, together with an acute awareness of the staffing shortages prevalent across the UK’s
diagnostics sector, led to him spearheading the creation and development of
Head of Service Delivery
As Head of Service Delivery, Dom oversees the planning, direction and co-ordination of all day to-day-operations, including managing innovation as an integral business process. A positive and innovative operational manager, with considerable experience and proven accomplishment within telemedicine, Dom has an extensive track record of growing, coaching and maturing successful operational teams within the service sector. Dom ensures ICS Diagnostics provides a smooth, efficient service that meets the expectations and needs of current and potential clients.
Operations Manager and CQC Registered Manager
Raechelle is accountable for the planning, direction and co-ordination of all day-to-day operations.
She brings with her over 12 years’ experience as Registered Manager for Care Quality Commission
across a range of health care organisations, as such she is best placed to ensure that all regulations
and fundamental standards are met for ICS Diagnostics. Raechelle is the Registered Manager for the
She works closely with her colleagues in the clinical, governance, technical, business development
and operations teams to ensure ICS Diagnostics is fully compliant and that targets and deadlines are
met. Raechelle has over 20 years’ experience working across the public and private healthcare sector
as a regional operations manager, clinic business manager, clinic manager, senior nurse and staff
nurse, and has been a Care Quality Commission (CQC) registered manager for many years. Prior to
joining ICS Diagnostics, Raechelle spent over three years working as regional operations manager for
Inhealth Group, an independent provider of diagnostic solutions across the UK for NHS trusts, CCGs
and independent healthcare providers.
National Echocardiography Lead
Eduardo’s extensive experience and NHS background perfectly places him to lead on all
clinical activity across the business. A dedicated senior cardiac physiologist with vast service
knowledge, Ed specialises in innovative echocardiography, leads the cardiac physiologist
team and provide technical and clinical support on ICS Diagnostics’ service range.
He has more than 15 years’ experience in the healthcare sector working across various
departments and research settings, 10 of which has been spent working in the UK.
Eduardo is Adult Transthoracic Echocardiography (TTE) and Adult Transoesophageal
Echocardiography (TOE) accredited. He is also a British Society of Echocardiography
With Ed’s specialist echocardiography knowledge, expertise and vision, this makes him a
key member of ICS Diagnostics core team.
ICS Group Clinical Director and Nominated Individual
Karen is the ICS Diagnostics governance lead and provides support to our registered manager. She has been ICS Group Clinical Director since March 2010, responsible for governance, risk management, quality, innovation and policy. She is also the Group’s Caldicott Guardian and has a wealth of experience in crisis management, serious case investigation and clinical risk management. Karen has 39 years’ experience in acute and primary healthcare in the Royal Navy, NHS and private sector for both commissioner and provider organisations. In addition to her ICS Group role she is Vice President for the Association of Perioperative practice, sat on the European board for theatre nurses as the UK representative setting standards across Europe and was an investigator for CIPOLD for premature deaths in LD 2010 -2013.
Regional Echocardiography Lead
Joao is our Regional Echocardiography Lead. Passionate about clinical work and echocardiography, he works closely with our clients, mostly providing clinical support but also managing his team of echocardiographers. He is accredited in Transthoracic Echocardiography (TTE) by both BSE (British Society of Echocardiography) and EACVI (European Association of Cardiovascular imaging). Joao is also a FICE (Focus Intensive Care Echocardiography) supervisor and has been training Intensive Care Doctors in Echocardiography for the past 3 years. His specialist interests are 3D Echocardiography and Intensive Care. Currently finishing his last year of the Cardiology MSc writing his thesis on 3D Echocardiography.
Clinical Partnerships Manager
As Clinical Partnerships Manager, Michelle is responsible for developing, supporting and
implementing business development strategy. She has commercial as well as account
management responsibility for existing customers, working closely with them to ensure
Customer satisfaction is at its highest levels.
Michelle aims to lead and develop secure partnerships so that ICS Diagnostics is flexible in
the delivery of our services and can seamlessly develop bespoke Customer solutions.
Michelle has a strong clinical background within various disciplines across the public and
private sector, therefore has a thorough understanding of key internal operational challenges
which make it necessary to adopt a tailored approach to each partnership.
Divisional Finance Director
Hish is responsible for the management of the financial and management accounting functions as
well as the transactional accounts payable and receivable functions. Hish has 15 years of experience
specialising in recruitment finance.
Head of Echocardiography
Dennis has been involved in Clinical Cardiology diagnostics and physiology since 1992, with 25 years Echocardiography experience and a BSE member since 2002. He has extensive experience within echocardiography having led a large NHS Echocardiography service for 13 years, acting as lead for complex echo including contrast echo, stress echo and TOE. His clinical interests outside of cardiology revolve mainly around oncology trials which remain of great importance to him. All of this means Dennis is perfectly placed to lead our growing echocardiography services and national clinical team.
Dennis also has extensive and wide-ranging experience in business and strategy, strategic partnerships and health IT-specific to cloud solutions and cloud-PACS. Dennis completed a post-graduate adult education degree in 1999, and in 2007 completed his Executive MBA with the prestigious Henley Management College to focus on business development and commercialisation within healthcare. He has led programmes on clinical focus and implementation of technology to improve clinical outcomes and application of AI in the imaging healthcare sector. The last decade of his career focused on introducing cloud-based SaaS/IaaS to the UK healthcare market, establishing one of the largest clinical user groups of a cloud-based Cardiology PACS in the UK.
Husnara coordinates; staff availability, processes timesheets and supports the onboarding process in terms of ICS Diagnostics robust compliance process. Further responsibilities include; updating and maintaining CRM systems, answering and redirecting calls, managing multiple inboxes and other key adhoc tasks, that supports the team to successfully mobilise new contracts and services, as well as successfully maintain existing contracts.
